Privacy

Terbit IP is designed to minimise unnecessary collection while providing network and privacy diagnostics.

Information used by the tools

When you request an IP or network diagnostic, your public IP address and approximate network or geolocation information may be processed to return the requested result. IP-derived location is approximate.

Storage and third parties

The current core build does not require a user account database. Diagnostic requests may use third-party network or geolocation providers. API responses are configured to discourage caching where appropriate.

Analytics and consent

Optional Google Analytics measurement is disabled on staging and does not load in production until you accept analytics. If accepted, Terbit records page and tool-use events using limited fields such as tool name, result state, page template and commercial-link placement. Diagnostic inputs, lookup values, raw IP addresses and precise location are not attached as custom analytics parameters. Your consent choice is stored in your browser and can be changed using Privacy choices.

Advertising

Advertising is not activated merely because ads.txt exists. Advertising and its separate consent requirements must pass production, policy and layout review before activation.
