Editorial Policy

Terbit IP aims to explain IP addresses, networking and online privacy in practical language. Diagnostic results and educational content are kept distinct from commercial recommendations.

Accuracy and updates

Technical content should be reviewed when protocols, browser behaviour, service providers or product functionality materially change. Claims should be testable or supported by appropriate evidence.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate relationships must be disclosed. Commercial links must not determine diagnostic results or override the user’s core experience.

Corrections

Material errors should be corrected promptly and recurring errors should result in an update to the relevant Terbit checklist, validator or operating procedure.
