IP Address Lookup
Enter a public IPv4 or IPv6 address to view approximate location and network information.
What this result means
IP geolocation is approximate. It may identify an ISP gateway or network region and must not be treated as a precise physical address or personal identity.
How to read this result
Example: an address may map to a provider hub in Kuala Lumpur even when the user is elsewhere. City and region values are estimates; the ASN and provider usually identify the network operator more reliably.
A failed lookup means the provider could not return data. It does not mean the address is private or safe.
Troubleshooting
- Retry once on the same connection if a provider or browser timeout occurs.
- Repeat on a different browser or network before drawing a conclusion.
- Treat “not detected” or “unsupported” as inconclusive, not proof of privacy or safety.
Example results on this page are labelled examples. Actual results depend on the browser, network, VPN and third-party endpoint availability.
